For your convenience, we have provided a sizing chart with each item. As sizing varies by style, we encourage you to check the size chart for each item you order.

+  M E A S U R I N G  I N S T R U C T I O N S

Careful measuring is essential. Take one measurement at a time and record it before taking the next. Refer to the diagram for the approximate placement of the tape measure.

+  G I R L S

  1. BUST - Measure across widest part of back, under arms, across full bust line.

  2. WAIST - Measure at natural waistline.

  3. HIGH HIPS - Keeping tape measure parallel to the floor, measure approximately 2" to 3" below waist.

  4. HIPS - Keeping tape measure parallel to the floor, measure around fullest part of hips approximately 7" to 9" below waist.

  5. UPPER ARM - Measure horizontally when arm is relaxed, midway between shoulder and elbow.

  6. BACK WAIST LENGTH - Measure from prominent bone at base of neck, center back, to the natural waistline.

  7. FINISHED LENGTH - Drop waist jumpers -- Measure from prominent bone at base of neck, center back, to the finished length. Jumpers with bibs, skirts and culottes -- Measure from the waist at center back to the finished length.

  8. CROTCH DEPTH - Sit on a flat surface, feet flat on the floor with back straight and tall. Measure from natural waist to flat surface at the side.

  9. STRIDE - From the waist in front, through the legs, to waist in back.

  10. OUTSEAM LENGTH - Measure from waist to finished length at the side of the leg.

  11. INSEAM LENGTH - Measure from the crotch inside leg to finished length (not shown on the diagram).

  1. CHEST - Measure around the fullest part.

  2. WAIST - Measure at natural waistline. With pants adjusted to wearing position, measure around area where waist seam rests.

  3. HIPS - Measure around the fullest part.

  4. NECKBAND - Measure around neck at Adam's Apple plus 1/2"

  5. UPPER ARM - Measure horizontally when arm is relaxed, midway between shoulder and elbow.

  6. SHIRT SLEEVE LENGTH - Measure from top of arm to finished length of sleeve.

  7. INSEAM LENGTH - (for altering pants only) Measure from crotch inside leg to finished length (not shown on diagram).
